TOP 5 WORST PARENTS IN THE WORLD

TGIF?

To get your weekend off to an interesting start, I want to share with you my top 5 WORST PARENTS EVER!

Here we go…..

1)  THE PAGEANT MOM WHO GAVE BOTOX TO HER 8 YEAR OLD.

This mother claimed to have injected her daughter with Botox to get rid of her “wrinkles” because of the pressures of kiddy beauty pageants.   Kerry (the mom) admitted that her daughter used to cry with the first few injections, but she eventually got used to it.

Note: the mother later came out and admitted that the whole story was a hoax, and she was paid by the British tabloid “The Sun” to fake the story.

Right, so it was a hoax.  BUT WHAT ON EARTH IS THE WORLD COMING TO?  Did this tabloid stoop so low to make some sales?  Then again this mother was willing to make herself look like a total turd by allowing herself to make such a stupid decision.  Seems like she really needed the money and the tabloid, the attention.  Clearly we shouldn’t believe everything we read.

2)  THE MOTHER WHO RETURNED HER ADOPTED SON TO RUSSIA

A 7-year-old was sent back to the orphanage because his ‘momma’ felt he was violent and had  severe physiological problems. The boy, Artyom Savelyev, was put on a plane by his adoptive grandmother back to Russia, because the family couldn’t take responsibility for their actions!!!

In Tennessee, authorities were investigating the adoptive mother, Torry Hansen, 33. According to her, the child was mentally unstable, violent and had severe psychopathic issues. “After giving my best to this child, I am sorry to say that for the safety of my family, friends and myself, I no longer wish to parent this child.”

She claimed it wasn’t abandonment, because he was watched all the time by stewardess and they paid  $200 to a guy and have him pick up the boy from the airport and taken back to the orphanage.

WTF!!!!!!!!!

3)  BABY DIED FROM STARVATION, BECAUSE PARENTS WERE TO BUSY RAISING VIRTUAL BABY!

A South Korean couple were arrested after their 3 month old daughter died of starvation.  She died because mommy and daddy spent hours on the net in cafes looking after their virtual daughter named Anima.

Their daughter was born premature and they were jobless.  So yes, the best thing to do in such a situation is neglect your baby???  They reckon it was to escape their depressing reality.

The couple fled to the wife’s parents’ house in Yangju, Gyeonggi province, but were picked up later. The case has shocked South Korea and once again, highlighted obsessive behavior related to the internet.

I hope they’re liking their new reality jail game, called “Don’t drop the soap in the shower”!

4)  THE MOTHER WHO GAVE HER DAUGHTER A BOOB JOB FOR HER 7TH BIRTHDAY.

Mommy got you a gift certificate my darling!  Boobs for a future birthday!!!

“Poppy begged me for a boob job, so I gave her the voucher so she can have it after she’s 16, when it’s legal. If she develops naturally big boobs, she can have something else done with it,” Burge, 50, says. “I can’t wait to be like Mummy with big boobs. They’re pretty,” adds Poppy.

YOU DUMB TIT!  FAKE TIT AT THAT!!!! What on earth are you listening to your daughter for?  She is 7!  Then again, you’re not all well upstairs either.  I honestly think this situation is a mess which cannot be cleaned up.

This is what happens when you have too much money, with no clue on whats happening in the world.  I’m sure this mother implanted a 32DD  silicone tit in the place of her brain.

And your last story………

5)  THE PARENTS WHO ENCOURAGED THEIR DAUGHTER TO HAVE SEX IN EXCHANGE FOR A MINIVAN

A central Georgia couple pleaded guilty to having their 14-year-old daughter engage in sex with a man so that they would not have to make monthly payments on their secondhand minivan. Sandra Davis, 37, of Dodge County, pleaded guilty to child molestation and was sentenced to eight years in prison on Monday. Davis did not physically abuse her daughter, but she did admit to encouraging her to trade sex for the van payments.

Don’t worry, the dad and his friend were jailed for 10 years with 10 years probation.

That still doesn’t seem enough to me!

I honestly have no more words.  The stories speak for themselves.

I’m still in shock!

Winter Blues

Heya Poutlings!

Winter hasn’t even started and I’ve already got flu!!!!
I HATE having flu with a passion, nothing worse than feeling horrible due to some flu bug!
So I did a little research on the top tips to prevent the horrible flu bugs from attacking our amazing pouters!
The flu is a virus that is transmitted through contact with someone who is infected, by droplets through a cough or a sneeze, or through contaminated items, such as pens or any other daily items.
Preventing the flu!!!

1. Take your vitamins
Firstly I’m not one for taking multi-vitamins, personally they don’t work for me. However taking vitamins in different forms is essential to fighting the flu and also for staying healthy all year round. My best bet would be the vitamin B12 shot, and vitamin C and vitamin D.
2. Eat flu-fighting, anti-oxidant rich foods

An overall healthy diet will boost your immune system, but the following foods are rich in anti-oxidants and are essential in fighting against various viral infections. The presence of antioxidants in your body will ensure you stay healthy, longer.

- Spinach – High in iron and antioxidants
Spinach is low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol. It is also a good source of Niacin and Zinc, and a very good source of Dietary Fibre, Protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin K, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.

- Broccoli – High in Vitamins A and C
Broccoli is low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol. It is also a good source of Protein, Thiamin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron and Selenium, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Manganese.

- Garlic – High in minerals such as copper, iron, zinc, calcium and selenium
Garlic stimulates the multiplication of infection-fighting white blood cells and also contains the phyto-chemical allicin, which has anti-bacterial properties.
Garlic is very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. It is also a good source of Calcium, Phosphorus and Selenium, and a very good source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Manganese.

- Blueberries – Packed with Vitamins C and E, and disease-fighting antioxidants
Blueberries are a good source of vitamins and minerals, such as potassium, iron, and vitamin C. Blueberries are also strong sources of dietary fibre. Each half cup serving of blueberries provides a full two grams of dietary fibre which is as much as in one slice of whole wheat bread.
Blueberries are among the richest sources of antioxidants and other important nutrients. Blueberries are also delicious, versatile, high in fibre, and low in calories.
The health benefits associated with blueberries include improved eyesight, stronger blood vessels, reduced risk of heart disease, reduced risk of urinary tract infections, better memory performance, and promoting and maintaining

- Oats – High in soluble fibre, which absorbs cholesterol and helps establish a healthy environment in your digestive tract.

- Water – Drink six to eight glasses of water a day to stay well hydrated. Water keeps the mucous membranes in your upper respiratory tract moist and resistant to infection.

- Cold-water fish – The omega-3 fats in cold-water fish, such as salmon and tuna, create high blood levels of flu-fighting T cells and interferon.

- Pumpkin – High in Carotenoids, Vitamin A and B-Group Vitamins
Pumpkins are a good source of Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Pantothenic Acid, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Riboflavin, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.
Pumpkins are high in beta carotene, vitamin A and other carotenoids that are powerful antioxidants. Pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of healthy polyunsaturated oils.

Garlic stimulates the multiplication of infection-fighting white blood cells and also contains the phyto-chemical allicin, which has anti-bacterial properties.

3. Sleep more, stress less
Sleep rejuvenates and revitalises your body, and helps your immune system function at its best.
Deep sleep stimulates the thymus gland to produce T-cells, which are a type of white blood cell that helps reject foreign substances, and controls the production of antibodies to fight infection.
Sleep also helps your body deal with stress, which has a strong influence on your immune system. Stress triggers the release of adrenaline and cortisol—hormones that reduce your body’s ability to produce antibodies.
That’s why people who are highly stressed get more colds, suffer more digestive tract problems and are more frequent bouts of fatigue. Aim to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep every night, and practice relaxation techniques to help prevent stress.

4. Wash your hands frequently
With good old-fashioned soap and water (60 seconds).  Antibacterial soap, contrary to public belief, does not to a better job and in fact could be aiding more resistant strains of bacteria.

Some quick tips to keeping healthy ladies and gents, hope you don’t get attacked by the flu bug like me!

11 Facts about missfitzstudio

1. This year I will have been with my boyfriend Brett for 4 years, officially, and I’ve never been happier! If you read this Brett, I love you baby! Thank you for being you! ♥

2. I’m nosey, if you tell me something remotely interesting I will want to know more about it in extreme detail… If I don’t appear very interested, you’re clearly not interesting… hahaha!

3. I was born, raised and went to an all girls Catholic school for 10 years (Grade 1 to Grade 10), I am a confirmed Catholic, however a VERY bad one… I like to think of myself as being spiritual instead of religious.

4. I hate clothes and grocery shopping… My mother is a pro who you would swear was born at a shopping mall, my idea of shopping is looking around for a couple of minutes and going for a cup of coffee and piece of cake…

5. I have never dyed my hair, and only go for 1 – 2 hair cuts per year. I hate going to the hair dresser, the simple fact that they try and make it such an “experience” really gets on my tits and take so long to wash, cut and blow dry your hair, and then they charge ridiculous amounts of money for making my hair look like it does normally after I’ve washed it and brushed it and LEFT it to dry on its own… just irritates me. I also hate sitting infront of a mirror for prolonged periods of time, and well, I hate anybody messing with my head.

6. My entire family is of British decent, with a strong Irish influence, ahem Fitzpatrick.

7. I’ve always been well travelled, thanks to my dad, I’ve been to many countries growing up, the only places left unexplored on the globe for me is Asia and Eastern Europe, which I will do eventually… when my boyfriend sorts his passport out! ;)

8. I really can swear like a sailor…

9. My favourite music is old school rock and metal, I was made in the 80s (just happened to be born in the 90s) and well, so was some of my favourite music the likes of Genesis, Def Leppard, Queen, Meatloaf, Metallica, Radiohead, Bad Religion, Bon Jovi, Kiss, Deep Purple… to name but a few. Anyone thats been in my car with me will know, as they’ve been tortured with this for however long they decide to sit with me. They just don’t make music like they used to in the good old days…

10. Cosmopolitan’s are my favourite alocoholic cocktail, and I’ve not so gracefully thrown my name away drinking them in Cape Town… eish.

11. I get extrememly irritated when people I don’t know spam me for whatever reason, be it a winning lottery email (I get about 15 a week) or a VOTE FOR ME IN XXXX, just a warning to anyone that was planning on spamming me on Facebook or Twitter… I report all your posts to my inbox/wall (on anyone elses wall/page or your status message, I don’t give a monkeys bum…) as spam unless I actually communicate with you and let you know I want you to have a fair shot at winning.

Sandylashxx’s 11 QUESTIONS to Me:

1.DO YOU REALLY LIKE ALL THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER OR ANY OTHER SOCIAL NETWORK? Most certainly not, some of them I adore and love, others I really can’t stand, I think the problem came in on Facebook because I joined Facebook when I was still at school, and well, at school everyone knows everyone and they have to be Facebook friends, so I have all of those people as my “friends” and then the photography and makeup industry, is rather small and well, people add you because you worked with someone they know because they worked with that persons sister in law and so on and so forth. I do not know all the people on my Facebook friends list, and I can tell by what some of them post, I actually don’t want to know them. I suppose the starving artist cannot choose who he will only work with… ha ha

2.CAN YOU COOK? I think I can. I know I still have a lot to learn, but that’s fine, as long as I don’t poison myself or my Brett :) I make a wicked Green Thai Curry!

3.WHICH TV PROGRAM REPRESENTS YOUR LIFE MOST? This time last year, America’s Next Top Model – not from a model perspective but a makeup one; I was a makeup artist on a South African production “Jozi’s Next Top Model” not sure what ever happened to that production though… now I’m not so sure, possibly Clueless? hahaha I made a joke! hmmm… “the Fi-Show featuring… Fi”? hahaha. No thanks, I’d rather poke my eyes out with a paper clip than be a reality tv star.

4.DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE SAYING “I DON’T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT ME”, IS IT AN ARROGANT WAY OF THINKING OR NOT? It’s not arrogant, I just don’t know how true it is from the people who actually say it, to think it is to already acknowledge their thoughts…

5.HOW MANY HOURS IN A DAY DO YOU SPEND ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, WORDPRESS, PINTEREST, TUMBLR, BBM OR ANY OTHER SOCIAL NETWORK AND DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO CUT DOWN ON IT? I really do not know – too much, but then again I wouldn’t be able to communicate with my Brett while we’re at work and keep updated on what’s going on our Pout Perfection Facebook Page.

6.ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE BODY YOU HAVE? Nope. Don’t know if I ever will be…

7.WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR WHEN IT COMES TO BEAUTY PRODUCTS? That I don’t have enough money to buy the ones I want… hahaha

8.IS YOUR AIM IN LIFE TO BECOME POPULAR OR FAMOUS? AND WOULD YOU GO AT ANY LENGTHS TO GET TO THE “TOP”? I don’t want to be famous, it is not any aspiration of mine in life. I want to be happy, always.

9.DO YOU TRY TO RECYCLE….ANYTHING? Paper. I have a administration day job, and since about 50% of my job involves filing paper work that NEVER  gets looked at, I have been trying to convince everyone that the “paperless route” is the only way to go, and I’m slowly winning the battle hopefully by the middle of the year I would have won this battle!

10.ARE YOU AWARE OF WHAT YOU EAT?  (RE: FACTORY FARMING? DAIRY, EGG INDUSTRY, PROCESSED AND JUNK FOOD) AND DO YOU EVEN TAKE TIME TO LOOK INTO IT AND CARE? I try to keep informed of what I’m eating, and try to stick only to free range meat, dairy, etc.

11.WHICH WOULD YOU GIVE UP FOR A WEEK WITH NO PROBLEM?  MAKEUP, FAVORITE FOODS OR YOUR BETTER HALF? Makeup and favourite foods. I wouldn’t survive for a week without my Brett, I love him so much! <3
