I haven’t posted in a while been super busy with makeup,

But i’m sure you’ve all been well and staying warm?

As the majority of you may know MissFits Studio aka Fi is currently in the UK (Yes i’m SUPER jealous)

But I thought i’d take some time and let you in on a bit of FI, She is not only the founder of Pout Perfection, a blogger and all round AWESOME.

But also a Qualified Makeup artist, photographer and one damn amazing woman.

So here is not only a look at her in those fields but from my eyes too.

First and foremost that is what FI means to me, I have been blessed with knowing her for a good few years now. I first met her on set as my Makeup artist while i was still a “Model”, Such an easy going and amazing woman.

We clicked right away as it seems we have the same quarks and at times twisted sense of humor. My relationship with this lady only continued to grow and soon i was under her very capable brush once more but this time in her studio as i was blessed to be in front of her camera too. She really is an all round talent and SHE LOVES ANIMALS!!! (Another win hehe)

Corrector Tri-pot in Ethnic colors

Why using a Corrector is important:

If you are anything like me when it comes to makeup, you too are a little bit OCD about tiny imperfections on your skin and therefore corrector is your best friend, This baby not only helps you be “photo ready” but also hides all those tiny blemishes you don’t want showing, this is definitely one of my favorite products, especially when doing makeup on brides for their special day.

I don’t always have time to do a full face make-up but I definitely cannot leave the house without my eyeliner and Mascara, we all love the black eyeliner look but not all of us wear it well (Sad but true) but YAY for us because OFRA has eyeliner in AMAZING colors, and as read above the newest to the list is their Ever Green pencil,

I’m sure the majority of you have seen the name or brand at some point and are either using some of the products or you find yourself staring when you walk past it.

As someone who tries to not wear make-up on a regular basis and of course being a make-up artist still fighting my way to the top I love Essence, here is why:

In all honesty I can’t really think of a bad thing to say about this brand, the only thing however that does get to me a little is that SOME of their eye shadows don’t show up as bright as I would like them to on white skins but even for that I cannot give them a bad crit because they Have the essence colour arts pigments range and yes it works, and not only do you have to stop at using it for eye shadow but you can also use it on your lips and nails

If you know me or have been following me via twitter, facebook or any other form of social networking,

you’ll know that I am very much against animal cruelty as is the Lovely MissFitz and SandyLash.

Over the past few days doing my general networking on facebook surrounding animals in need I’ve had a few people ask me how would they know if the products they use are animal cruelty free.

First off, please know the difference between animal cruelty and animal testing.

With that out of the way I know a great deal of us love our animal but we aren’t to clued up about the products we use and end up having a whole range of animal cruelty products taking up the space in our cupboards.

Although i am not the biggest PETA fan around they are among some of the sites that have lists of products not just cosmetics but also your general day to day household item that are animal cruelty free and of course those that are not.

I know some of you have heard it yet still find it hard to believe but it is in fact true, Yes MAC cosmetics are not animal cruelty free, they have up their animal cruelty free status to be able to sell their products in China, Unfortunately animal testing is a requirement to be able to sell in China, but have no fear the EU has banned animal testing on all cosmetic’s so hopefully soon China will regain contentiousness of what they are doing and follow in the EU’s foot steps *Keeps fingers crossed*
