1) How long have you been in the laser and lipo business?
For just over 2 years now

2) What do you love most about your work?
Each and every client that comes to see me has something that they are not happy about. Struggle to lose weight, started with wrinkles but is still young(early 30s), elder ladies hating the way their necks ages, skinny girls with cellulite, mommies with 8 week old babies…you name it. I have heard just about every diet under the sun. As I have been through most of those stages I can relate and understand how they feel. I LOVE talking to my clients and explain that it is NEVER as bad as is feels and that they will feel like different people when they leave my clinic. It makes my day when my clients leave here with happy hearts and believing in themselves and have the self-confidence a lot of people just wish to have.

3) How old can you be to receive laser and lipo treatments?
All ages are safe. I don’t do the Laser Lipo on boys or girls younger than 16…The reason being is that they come to see me because they have obsessed parents, that think Lipo is the answer for their child’s non-existing love handle or they have these very influential friends at school that managed to break them down completely making them think they are fat when they have these gorgeous bodies that most teenagers just dream to have.

4) Are the products tested on animals?
Not at all! The Laser Lipo is however FDA approved for circumferential reduction.

7) Can clients see an immediate change after a treatment?
Yes!!! Imagine going to gym for a month, trying all matter of shakes and diets, just to lose 3cm. 1 Laser Treatment can do that in 30min.
Lipo: We take measurements before and after the treatment (an average of 1-6cm can be per treatment)

Face lift: On older skin it is easier so see a difference as it makes the wrinkles appear softer after the treatment and as the hyaluronic acid builds up under the skin with every treatment the
wrinkles disappear gradually. On a younger skin it will completely lighten up the skin make it look radiant feeling softer and healthier than ever.

8) Is it painful or just uncomfortable?

Confession time…

I don’t know about you, but I have a problem with my armpits sweating. Sometimes just putting on a roll-on or antiperspirant spray automatically gets the sweat glands going and I start to sweat, without even doing any physical activity. It’s terribly annoying!

Recently I’ve been using PERSPIREX and I can honestly say its the BEST roll-on ever! No more sweat! Yay!

You use PERSPIREX at night before bed, because your sweat glands are less active at night. In the morning you wash it off and you don’t have to re-apply. I use it about 2-3 times a week as recommended. 2 strokes up and down is enough! It’s not like the normal roll-on where you constantly rolling it up and down in fear of sweating.

It’s a small bottle (25ml) and costed about R130,00 from Dischem. It may seem expensive, but you use so little of it, that it will last you a seriously long time.

It can get itchy, but that’s only because you may have applied it to your skin when it wasn’t fully dry, or you’ve applied too much.

I really love it, because you only need it about 2-3 times a week. Without having to use anything else other than your perfume! I don’t use any other roll-on or sprays! Nada! That’s just amazing!

Plus it’s tested on human volunteers only and is made in Denmark! A product I am trusting big time!

So if you have a sweaty problem, please try this product out. They even have a lotion for your feet! Lucky for me I don’t suffer from that problem. I just thought I’d tell you about a product I personally love and feel truly works!

Apparently there were three men ejected from Saudi Arabia by the religious police for being too handsome. And so far, one has been revealed. His name is Omar. They were quickly deported to Abu Dhabi, because the religious police said that these men would cause a problem amongst female visitors.

Omar is an actor, poet and photographer. I’m sure with all this hooha about him, he will be adding model to his CV.

Apparently an incident occurred when he attended the Riyadh annual Janadriyah festival and attracted the attention of a female Emirati artist. The other two unnamed or unseen men were also there, as they were “presenting” the UAE at the festival.

Basically, the Saudi’s feel that in a strict Sunni Muslim community a woman may not socialize with a man who’s not her relative.

So what are your thoughts on this? I think that they should have just left it, because now they just gave him more attention. Now they can expect even more female visitors in Saudi Arabia for a game of “spot the hottie”! Maybe this is all just a very clever way of making this actor even more famous? Who’s his manager?

It’s never too early to start preparing your child to be a beauty queen…. at least, that is what mum-to-be Jenny Oliver thinks.

Crazy pageant mother in question – Jenny Oliver from Blackpool, UK.

At seven months pregnant, she’s already entered her unborn daughter, tentatively named “Ella” into her first Bonnie Baby pageant.

“With my dance skills and her sister Jess’s knowledge of pageants, there’s no way she won’t win the prize for bonniest baby… It was only a tenner to enter her and I believe you should start them young. Ella will do so much better in life with all that experience under her belt… She’s only going to be three months old but she’ll have a bit of fun on the day… Walking down the catwalk with my gorgeous baby will make me feel a million dollars – even though I’ll still be carrying my baby weight and wearing baggy clothes. I hope she wins – it would be fab to have a baby sash and crown to add to the collection. I have so much planned for her.”

Can we just stop for a minute? Goodness. I feel stressed reading that. What about you? THIS POOR CHILD DOESN’T EVEN EXIST YET. I suppose they will start fitting her for a “flipper” the moment after her first feeding.

I have so many questions when reading this:

1. What if she doesn’t arrive on her due date.

2. What if her skin doesn’t take to spray tans well?

3. What if she doesn’t look good in nappies?

4. What if Ella is a boy?

There are too many unanswered questions here, and I feel stressed for a life that is even yet to live. What the hell is happening with the world?

It is worrying enough seeing toddlers dressed up in pink frills, covered in makeup and encouraged to be swoon-worthy in front of judges at teeny beauty pageants but its positively scary to think unborn babies are being lined up for a childhood spent being judged on how they look.

I rest my case.
