Daphne Guinness & MAC Team Up

MAC asked Daphne Guinness to create a cosmetic collection for the upcoming holidays.

The amazing fashion icon and beer heiress who told Elle in early September 2011 that she plans on launching a film production company this year around October/November that she will be designing 21 new products for MAC. The new line of makeup is said to include “rich, sensational hues” and is due to be launched on 26 December.

Daphne Guinness (in case you do not know who she is….) is best known for her love of couture items and eccentric styling habits which may be why her beauty habits get less attention than they would otherwise. She’s a fan of liquid liner, tonnes of glitter and a matte lip – which makes her someone we at Pout Perfection luuuuuurve! Although even her craziest looks pale in comparassion to her outfits… So – what I’m really trying to say here is that I’m really looking forward to the packaging of these products and I hope that they are not as cheesy as MAC’s Wonder Woman collection, the packaging really made me cringe.

Are you excited? I am!
