Foods That Make You Pretty

Sick of spending loads of cash on beauty products and not seeing any results? Why not turn to Mother Nature instead? She is, after all, a woman herself!

Almonds: Nuts in general are high in vitamin B complex, which help with not only skin cell restoration but also hair growth and dry skin. Which will also help you fight against wrinkles and leave your skin and hair pretty and glowing.

Avos: Avocado’s have mono-unsaturated fats will give you clear, soft and smooth skin, but be careful not to over-indulge because it is still FATTY and you’ll be packing on the pounds quickly. Also, avo’s are great face masks too!

Salmon and Tuna: They are  loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids that do wonders for the body and they are also high in vitamin D, which is great for skin because it helps keeps it fresh and promote an overall healthy appearance. So while being in the sun can provide loads of vitamin D, these days it’s not so safe for your skin to be outside without using loads and loads of sunblock! So instead, chow some Salmon or Tuna.

Raisins: Oleanolic Acid, one of the phytochemicals present in raisins, plays crucial role in protecting your teeth against tooth decay, cavities, brittleness of teeth etc. It effectively prevents growth of Streptococcus Mutans and Porphyromonas Gingivalis, two of the species of bacteria which are most responsible for cavities and other dental problems. In addition, it is rich in calcium which is very good for promoting dental health, as it prevents breaking or peeling away of teeth and enamel and makes them strong. One more interesting thing about raisins is that the longer they stick to your teeth, the better, as it ensures longer contact of Oleanolic Acid with the teeth preventing growth of bacteria. Boron present in raisins plays a very important role in checking growth of germs in the mouth as well promotes health of bones and teeth.
