Shopping madness!!!

Hello Pouters!

Well we are exactly 40 days away from Christmas and we all know what this means, busy malls, screaming kids, que’s, parking, a lot more other frustrations.

I know every year people plan to do their christmas shopping as early as they can yet when they look again december is around the corner and time is limited. I always leave my shopping until late and its a big rush and major headache!

So I have decided to give you ladies (and gents) a little do and dont’s list for your shopping experience during the festive season. It’s a fabulous idea that we make a plan for our shopping when it comes to christmas gifts.

1. Make a list: Prepare a list well in advance, consider who you need to buy for and what you are going to buy for each person.

2. Shop at night: Most malls extend their shopping hours, so take advantage of late night shopping.

3. Set a budget: Make sure you have budgeted you don’t want to over spend, and be disappointed in how much you spent.

4. Keep receipts: Be prepared to take items back.

5. Watch your credit card: When paying with your credit card ensure the tellers don’t walk away with your card for safety reasons.

1. Avoid weekends: If you want to avoid bumping shoulders with every other shopper, then go on a week day.

2. Dont limit your choice:  Plan for this in advance by writing a back up gift option on your list. This will save you a lot of time especially if you’re shopping for a large number of people.

3. Dont wrap right away: Check your item thoroughly before you thrown on the fancy wrapping paper. Also remember to remove the price tag and other purchase particulars.

4. Stay safe: If you’re buying online; be sure that the website has SSL technology. You
definitely want your credit card information to stay secure. Further, if you
don’t receive your purchased item, you can contest the charge.

5. Dont shop on an empty stomach: People often go shopping on an empty stomach, which causes them to spend excess money on food and people normally eat more at a restaurant than compared to how hungry they really are, which leads to a waste of money.

So Pouters, take it easy and enjoy shopping for the people you love, stay calm and relax during your shopping.
Hope you all have a pleasant and relaxed christmas shopping experience.
