Have you heard about Prince Poppycock?
In the 5th season on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT 2010, Prince Poppycock blew the crowd away… with his voice of course! (For those of you who aren’t too sure on who this character is)
Meet John Andrew Quale, a.k.a Prince Poppycock from Virginia, United States. He is a fabulously, stunning, beautiful and a talented singer, songwriter and performer. He specializes in musical theatre and opera and is described on his website as a “roguish operatic dandy”. He was voted fourth in the final four.
Raised on a horse farm in Virginia. His first public performance was at the Kennedy Center in the Children’s Choir of the Washington National Opera. In his teenage years he became “enamored” with David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Opera and Gregorian Chant.
Poppycock “is my mask”, says Quale in People Magazine. “Give a man a mask and he will tell you the truth”….
He embodies humor, irony and sarcasm..
He’s been called “a male Lady Gaga” and “the Adam Lambert of America’s Got Talent.
Look, from my point of view…. I just love his style! That whole baroque thing going on! And please let’s talk about his makeup! I mean, how awesome is his makeup? He is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
