Introducing… SKINNY MINNIE and SKINNY FRIENDS!

Hiyaa Poutlings!

Although it was previewed that Minnie Mouse was going to remain unchanged after the initial uproar over the Barneys Electric Holiday. *clickety click*

The full campaign debuted last night and when Minnie graced the runway, she was decidedly taller and slimmer. Much discussion has been brought up about this campaign as I’d mentioned in my previous post about the supermodel interpretation of Disney characters, and in the preview showing a normal sized Minne she has transformed into a skinny supermodel when she hits the runway during the full 5 minute long video.

Granted, I still really enjoyed the little movie. We have been waiting to see the final shots of our favourite tonnified fashion industry professionals since the news first broke. Nothing gets me into the holiday spirit quite like Disney does. Although the supermodel versions of our favourite characters are kinda creepy.

What are your thoughts while scrolling through the modelesque versions of Cruella DeVille, Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Princess Tiana, Snow White and Minnie Mouse and watch the full version of Electric Holiday on Barney’s website here.
