When it comes to using and loving foundations, I tend to be overly critical. I basically have one type that I love to use, and very seldom try something new or switch it up.
So when these little pots came along, my excitement levels did not rise as it usually would. But then I decided that to be totally fair, I would have to give it a try and see what happens.
It is housed in a small glass pot, with a coloured screw on lid that indicates the shade of the product inside. Upon opening it, it looks divine. So lovely, that I did not want to ruin the lovely inside by using it. The product itself is odourless and the consistency is a mousse, gel like whipped cream. It has a lovely texture.
It is easy to apply and blend. The coverage of this product is quite good and you need only to apply and blend once, because it is matte, whipped and sheer it might look caked if you apply more than one coat.
Longevity of this product is also a surprise. I did not expect it to last as long, but it does. And when I use a primer, it stays perfectly put the whole day. Another added benefit is the fact that it is matte. My skin looks velvety and shine free the whole day. No more shiny patches halfway through the day.
I am happy to report that I have substituted my regular heavy foundation with this one daily. It’s lightness, the matte finish and the fact that it has not clogged my pores once is what won me over. My first tub of this is almost empty, and I have already purchased another one. And for only R63-50 and the quality you are receiving for that price, I am converted.
Love,
Leandra
