Okay so we all know that bigger and fuller is better when it comes to lashes, especially when you are going all out for that special someone on Valentines day, and want that dramatic look to suit your favourite new dress!

Well my favourite’s DEFINITELY are (and its so hard to choose between these two, so I have to choose both..) MAX FACTOR’S FALSE LASH EFFECT WATERPROOF MASCARA, AND THE MAYBELLINE NEW YORK COLOSSAL VOLUM’ EXPRESS WATERPROOF MASCARA!!

They are absolutely my favourites, because I never have to worry about standing for ages infront of my mirror to get that desired look, I know that with these two mascaras I will only have to give my lashes a maximum of 2 strokes with the magical wand, and off I go..

These two products will never let you down, they are cry proof, smudge proof, weather proof and swim proof, what more do you need!

Here’s a look that matches the dramatic full lash, so that you can feel confident on that hot date this Valentines day

What a lovely day it is, you wanna know why…. Today I made myself a light lunch before this blog entry, made out of the goodness of the tasty Red pepper pesto from Pesto Princess, some mayo, rye crackers, red bell peppers, and some olives with added cheese blocks. Pesto Fritters Mix 1 cup each ricotta and chopped spinach, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup each grated parmesan and pesto, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder; chill 30 minutes. Deep-fry tablespoonfuls in 350 degrees F vegetable oil until golden, 4 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce.

Pesto Butter Mash 3/4 cup pesto into 4 tablespoons softened butter.

Tuna–White Bean Pasta Cook 1 sliced garlic clove in a skillet with 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 minute. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 can each drained tuna and white beans, and 1/4 cup pesto. Toss with 12 ounces cooked spaghetti and some torn basil.

Pesto Mussels Saute 4 sliced garlic cloves in a pot with olive oil until golden, 2 minutes. Add 2 pounds mussels and 1 cup white wine; cover and cook until the mussels open, about 4 minutes. Stir in 3 tablespoons pesto.

Good afternoon my lovely Pouters* 🙂

Being in the modelling industry I have to watch how my body transforms after the festive season, and keep it in shape before things get too out of hand, so that I can keep booking jobs of course..

After all the lovely indulging I’ve been doing these past couple of months, I have noticed a little bit of a wobble on my upper arms at the bottom, and have decided to do something about it.. so here’s a few basic steps on how to firm up those upper arms.

These easy exercises will tone your biceps and triceps, tightening up the flab, and give your arms a toned, youthful appearance.

Start with your arms extended out to both sides, fingertips pointing upwards. Feel that wonderful stretch that goes from your fingertips to your shoulders? Hold that position for 10 seconds, then flex your hands with fingertips pointing down at the floor, hold that position for 10 seconds also. Repeat this two more times to get your muscles warmed up.

Next, with fingertips pointing upwards, make small, deliberate up and down motions with your arms. The movement should be about 12-18 inches, do not go all the way down to your side or over you your head with this movement. Repeat this 10 times, then point your fingertips downward and repeat the process.

When you have competed the up and down set, with arms still extended and fingertips pointed upwards, make small, deliberate circles with your arms. First clockwise for 10 reps, then counter clockwise for another 10 reps. Repeat the process with fingertips pointed downwards.

With arms still extended and fingertips up, act as though your are pushing a wall away from you on side. Bring hands in near the sides of your shoulders and deliberately push out to each side. Repeat this 10 times, with fingertips up only.

Next, you will act as though you pushing something off the top of your head. Bring your outstretched arms up over your head, fingers flexed, bring arms down to the tops of your shoulders and deliberately push straight up. Repeat 10 times.

By now, you will be feeling a little burn and weakness in your arms, this is a good thing, you are doing the exercise correctly. Let your arms rest for 10 seconds at any time during this routine.

Now lean slightly forward and bring your arms to your sides with elbows bent. Keeping your upper arm close to your body, and your hands flexed, push backwards for 10 reps.

You want to work your way up to doing three sets of 10 of each movement. For faster results, you can do this while holding small hand weights, the key is building the surrounding arm muscles up to take up the slack skin.

It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Jingle my bells!! Lets not forget about the romantic side of Christmas.. ;)

brand size

So when it comes down to romance this season lets make its a bit steamy, and buy some lingerie to surprise the apple of your eye under the mistletoe..

Why not surprise your boyfriend, crush or husband with some little gifts wrapped with love, and delivered by you wrapped in sexy lingerie.. I’m sure he will appreciate unwrapping his gifts, and you… 😛

Underwear sizes come in small, medium, and so on, or they come in number sizes. If you can, find a pair of lingerie that has a number size, as that is more specific, and will guarantee a better fit. I’m sure that you are aware of bras and panties, but there are some other kinds of lingerie such as camisole, babydoll, shapewear, teddies, and etc. Camisoles are like a bra with a built in sheer part that covers the midriff. A babydoll is a short, sometimes sleeveless, loose fitting nightgown or negligee intended as nightwear for women.

It sometimes has formed cups called a bralette for cleavage with an attached loose fitting skirt falling in length usually between the upper thigh and the belly button Teddies are like little one piece’s that cover the whole torso.

Either of these are a great choice for you to wear as a little extra gift for your guy, because they suggest romance instead of kinkiness or lustiness, which is the most important on Christmas night.

If you take a look above I have posted a little helper for your ideal size to get you started… 🙂

Tips on printing you’re own Christmas cards for friends and family

Whether you’re the creative type, or you’re a bit broke from all the Christmas shopping for the kids, and forgot all about buying the Christmas cards for family abroad, and have decided to make your own, here are some things to remember when doing so:

1. Make sure you have enough ink. Christmas cards are printed in full colours, and require a lot of ink. Choosing cards with a lot of white space will help lessen the need for ink, but you’ll still want to be sure you have plenty of supplies to print your cards.

2. Clean your print head. Ink smudges can ruin a card, so be sure your printer is in top shape before you start sending paper through.

3. Use a high quality print mode. Skip the draft or text modes on your printer and select a higher level of printing, especially if you’ll be printing photos. This will make sure the ink appears solid and smooth and the colours are rich.

4. Don’t skimp on paper. Your cards will look better if you purchase a heavy weight paper designed especially for printing cards rather than using the regular inkjet paper you use for everyday printing. Splurge on a nice matte or glossy paper to ensure top quality cards if you can afford it.

5. Start early. If you’re going to be printing all your cards rather than buying pre-made ones, be sure to give yourself enough time to get everything printed, signed, addressed and sent. You’ll be glad you did, and home made cards give Chrismas that special feel!
