Confession – I have not finished watching Breaking Bad and I have not watched it since about the 3rd season. It’s on my ever growing to-do list with le boyfriend. It will happen though… one day. That being said, I know the series is finished and I know a lot of people that are still having Breaking Bad withdrawal symptoms. I came across this gem of a spin off. A Breaking Bad baking cookbook aptly named Baking Bad penned by Walter Wheat.
You can bake these recipes without breaking the law or worrying about a violent death.
The Amazon site says that the Kindle price is $13.67 and Hardcover book is $20.00, which sounds like just the right thing to buy for baking before a Breaking Bad marathon.
Check out some of these creations!

This video will certainly make you crack a smile. Three men try follow Michelle Phan’s smokey eye makeup tutorial and this is the result…
I know this is an oldie but it certainly still makes me laugh. Often I attempt a smokey eye and I alwasy end up blending it out to a more intense eye because it feels wrong or too dark for daytime but in all honestly its not too bad compared to these guys. I think I may just have the makeup thing down, well at least much better than these poor guys. Practice certainly does make perfect!
Can I just say that on the whole contour trend that they hit the nail on the head… Rub some dirt on your face 😀 LOL!!
Kudos to them for being such good sports and giving it their best try.
Good Friday Morning !
So on the 29th of July 2014 was my Neapolitan Mastiff Nina’s first birthday and I just had to organise her a cake and prezzies.
Here is the recipe:
1 Large apple or two smaller ones
1,5 cups rice flour/gluten-free
1/4 cup corn flake crumbs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon bicarb of soda
1/2 cup plain full cream yogurt
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 tub low-fat cream cheese
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons plain full cream yogurt
2-3 tablespoons rice flour/almond flour
Preheat oven to 200 deg C
Core apple then grate it, set aside.
Sieve the dry ingredients in a bowl.
In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients, add the cheese and apple.
Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Fold together and pour into prepared small cake tin or cupcake tin.
Bake for about 30 min until golden brown.
Mix all the ingredients together until it’s a smooth consistency.
I added edible colour and glitter. (optional)
I used a zip lock bag to do the piping. Just spoon the frosting into the bag and cut a tiny hole in the corner and let the decorating begin.
So give it a try! Nina also received some gifts and of course shared her cake with Donatella! Let me know what you think and comment below! Also remember that a healthy dog diet should consist of good quality pellets with a higher percentage of protein. Cooking food or left overs is not good for your pet. Dogs can’t digest cooked bones, it’s not good for them. This cake is a treat that my dogs will be getting on their birthdays. Just as we have treats on special occasions. Some of us more than most. lol.
Remember that your pets should be treated with respect and love, but as the Dog whisperer puts it… remember that: first it’s an animal, then a species, then breed, then a pet.
Lots of Blessings

So it seems that “Weird Al” Yankovic is still around even though I thought he was a ’90’s thing, he’s back. He never lost it because this is just as good as he previously was.
This time with a parody of Lorde’s “Royals” which is renamed “Foil”, yes the useful household and kitchen necessity. I think its more worthy of a tribute song than those so-called “royals” that Lorde sings about. You can cover your boyfriend in it and call him a prince in shining armour and cover up your leftovers!
