I’m not gonna lie, I do have a soft spot for Miley Cyrus.
I admire the way she has publically rebelled against being the big-haired pop princess and goodie-two-shoes that Disney, no doubt, wanted her to be.
Here she is on the cover of Cosmopolitan, sans bra, incase you did not get the memo that she is NOT a little girl anymore.

Since it’s the month of LUUURVE… I thought I’d kickstart it with a wacky but fabulous wedding blog post. When Jamie Blanke married her new husband Eric Chandler, they did it in style – Disney style.
ladies in waiting?
The bride who was reportedly raised by two Disney fanatics, really wanted to be Princess Ariel and she didn’t just stop at dying her hair red, a fish-netting veil and mermaid-style dress (all of whish she had)… Jamie also enlisted all of her bridesmaids and groomsmen to dress ad Disney characters, too!! I can’t help but feel sorry for these bridesmaids because they are stuck with the pinncale of an unwearble bridesmaids dress – a Disney princess bridesmaid dress. I guess you could always wear wear one to a fancy dress party.
However, what the bride needs kudos for is the fact that she executed it perfectly and everyone at that wedding party must love her so much to have followed her vision… she will always have the best wedding photos and memories ever.
Taylor Swift has posed as Rapunzel for a new Disney ad shot by Annie Lebovwitz, despite her own failed fairytale endings.

The stunning image captioned “Where a world of advenute awaits” – shows Taylor perched on the window ledge of a moss-covered stone tower.
I think its an absolutely gorgeous image!
This Christmas, which is is less than 2 months away (you’re welcome), seems to already have a Disney theme. After a very controversial *clickety click* Barney’s New York has taken an Electric Holiday with high fashion versions of Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, Harrod’s is ALSO glamourising the Disney Princesses to be featured in their holiday windows.
Roberto Cavalli, Marchesa and Oscar De La Renta are just three of the participating 10 designers in the Disney Designer Princesses for Harrod’s. Three designers have re-imagined some of the most iconic characters in pop culture and they’ve got a makeover which I think is magical.
The display coincides with a huge pop up shop inside the department store to be unveiled on the 1st of November, the windows will truly be a litter girl’s grown up dream come true.
You decide : what real life princess attire are you wishing to wear??
Good Morning Sweet Pouters,
and Happy Friday the 13th!
So, we all know Maleficent as Disney’s baddest bitch, the “Mistress of Evil” if you will from Sleeping Beauty and I’m sure I’m not the only emo girl that’s owned one of more T-shirts with her on it. She is the prettiest of all the evil witches (who remembers Ushula from The Little Mermaid and the old thing from Cinderella?) and definitely the most devious, making sure she curses Aurora to “prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die” before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, but obviously it backfires somehow (don’t ask me, I don’t remember lol).
Director Robert Stromberg jumped on the fairytale remake bandwagon and put his own spin on the Sleeping Beauty tale, using Angelina Jolie to portray the beautiful villain. Fitting, I must say. Who else would have been able to portray her? Just like Charlize Theron was perfect to play Queen Ravenna in Snow White and in my opinion, she totally saved that film from being totally disastrous.
The film is set to be released on the 14th of March 2014.
Are you looking forward to it? I know I am!
Happy Friday the 13th further!
