Let me first set the record straight. I am a huge fan of MAC’s Rubywoo lipstick. It’s pretty much the perfect red lipstick. But I can’t compare these two lip “enhancers”. MAC is a lipstick and it’s matte, whereas this is a gloss.
What do I have to say about this Kryolan High Gloss lip gloss?
Well I absolutely LOVE it. It’s surprisingly long-lasting, which normally is unusual for a lip gloss.
It livens up your whole look.
It’s NOT sticky at all, and it doesn’t taste too bad either 😉
I think my favorite part about it, is that its super moisturizing. Even more so than lip balms. PLUS, it doesn’t bleed.
I definitely recommend buying any of the Kryolan High Gloss glosses. And I’ve used many brands of glosses, and so far nothing beats this one.
Here is a makeup look I did using Kryolan products and of course Catwalk High Gloss.
With this makeup application I used Kryolan foundation, contouring foundation and Kryolan setting powder.
This specific color is called Catwalk..
All Kryolan products are available for purchase at my favorite salon EDL Hair & Beauty on Lynnwood.

Hey there gorgeous.
Recently I went to a dear friends wedding. So I thought I would show you show you how I did my makeup.
So many makeup artists say you should have one focal point on your face. And generally they’re right. But there is one look where you could pull off strong eyes and strong lips. And that’s when using Red lips.
This is how I do it…
First, it’s all about contouring and highlighting and of course blending it all properly.
Then I add a shimmery highlighting eyeshadow in the corner of my inner eyes and on the brow bone. After that I apply black eyeliner and set it with black eyeshadow on my lower lash line.
I then added a darker shade of eyeshadow on my outer eyelid and blending it to the crease. Giving it a slightly smokey effect. After which I add eyeliner with a tapered brush and an eyeliner paint pot. Of course I shape my brows. Brows are the frame of the face, the face is the picture. So I always shape my brows. As thick, as thin as I want.
I then finished off with falsies and the famous Rubywoo MAC red lipstick!!!
In a nutshell, I used KRYOLAN foundations, INGLOT eyeshadows and of course Rubywoo lipstick.
I love wearing this look when going out. It’s strong, yet feminine. 💋
Have a fabYOUlous day!!!

Before you proceed with this blogpost, I warn you. You will see what I look like without makeup! I don’t mind people knowing what I look like without makeup, because I love seeing the transformation on myself. I love how makeup totally changes what I look like.
It’s really NOT a self-esteem issue, if I had a self-esteem issue, I wouldn’t show you what I look like without makeup. LOL.
So here it goes. This is not a tutorial. It’s more like a visual ‘journey’ that makeup takes me on. 🙂
The look is never done until your hair is done, accessorized yourself and got dressed, am I right? 😉
Hope I didn’t scare you off…
