Last week, Wednesday afternoon, I had the priveledge to be invited to a prestigious spa in the heart of Camps Bay to celebrate spring and be pampered with the beautiful Cindy Nell, owner of Cosmetix.
Cosmetix bring us many lovely products to South Africa, Essence Makeup, Essence MySkin, Caribbean Tan, Catrice Cosmetics and Skin Science.
Upon arriving, a glass of champagne or drink of your choice was duly handed out and you were given a lovely Carribean Tan beach bag where you were told to proceed to the displays and pick your favourite products.
Pedicures, makeup applications, professional spray tans with Carribean Tan were in full force and blow dries were in progress from start to finish of the event and everyone left feeling gorgeous and pampered!
Here is what I got to continue the pampering at home…
Essence MySkin Face wipes, Essence MySkin Mattifying Moisturiser, Essence Cream Blusher, Essence Polish, Essence Plum Lippie, Caribbean Tan, Catrice Nude Eye shadow Pallet, Catrice Brow Set & Catrice Nude Lippie
Full reviews to come in due course.
Have a beautiful day!

I LOVE Volt Cafe’s beauty editorials.
This is a particulary great take on the ever-so popular gold theme everyone-and-their-mother is doing nowadays.

It’s the new thing girls!
It made its début on the runway for Cushnie Et Oche. Ciate have however made a range which all us nail art lovers can now achieve by ourselves.
You have to admit though, nail caviar has quickly grabbed the nail art scene by storm. First it was water marble nail art, then it was followed by ombré nails (which is still very much in).
If you can’t get hold of Ciate products, you can do your own nail DIY project at home. Use your favorite nail colour and apply some beads while it’s still wet, press down and let dry. Obviously you have to buy some small ass beads at a craft store.
The Ciate range comes in three colors; rainbow, black and mother of pearl. It’s been said that ranges might expand in colors due to demand!
Will it make or break the nail art world? It’s gonna be a
biatch to remove me thinks. Unless you soak it off with cotton and tin foil. And I can see nail biters having a feast nibbling on the not-so-tasty bits!
Thing is, it looks pretty amazing.
Love it or hate it? Will it be trending your fingers?
